Gary Lineker Wife, Danielle showed off her legs in a pair of skimpy bikini briefs

With almost every other celebrity couple enjoying the New Year in exotic locations, Gary and Danielle Lineker weren't going to be any different.

The married couple were spotted enjoying a romantic walk along a beach in St Barts today - and looked very much in love.

Gary, 51 and his wife, 32, had obviously seen in 2012 while in the Caribbean and were enjoying the bank holiday with a relaxing day out.

Former model Danielle showed off her enviable figure in a pair of skimpy white bikini briefs, but despite appearing in Maxim and being the face of La Senza in the past, she kept her top half covered up.

As she strolled on the sand with the father-of-four she wore a long-sleeved crop top and carried her flip flops and a book in her hand.

Gary wasn't so revealing and opted for an all black outfit despite the gorgeous sunshine.

The former footballer wore a pair of shorts with a rather fitted V-neck T-shirt.

The pair looked pleased to be enjoying some quality time together and as they walked along the beach, Gary put a protective arm around his wife.

They then made their way towards the water where they stopped and took in the view together while onlookers enjoyed some water sports.

Gary and Danielle - who married in September 2009 - spent Christmas together in the UK, but soon jetted off to St Barts to see in the New Year.

No doubt Danielle will be throwing herself back into work when the couple return though, as she's hoping to further her acting career.

Last month she told MailOnline that she was putting a lot of effort into her latest move in the industry.

'I�m starting shooting for a feature film next March/April and then I might be involved in another film next year too,' she said.

�I�ve just finished another acting course because obviously I didn�t go to drama school and I think if I can do as many courses as possible then its going to help me.'
