They've had a difficult few weeks after Gisele Bundchen's very public spat with husband Tom Brady's New England Patriots following their Super Bowl defeat.

But as the couple took their son Benjamin to the beach in Costa Rica, they looked every inch the happily family.

Gisele, 31, showed off her incredible figure in a barely-there animal-print string bikini as she soaked up the sunshine and played with three-year-old Benjamin in the sand and the surf.

As well as helping Benjamin build a sandcastle, Gisele later donned a khaki cover-up over her bikini as she spun the little boy around and around - much to his delight.

Gisele was also seen enjoying a very public display of affection with her 34-year-old husband, who couldn't resist giving his wife's behind a cheeky squeeze.

And who could blame Tom for not being able to get enough of Brazilian model Gisele's body - given that she works so hard to maintain her stunning physique.

She said in a recent interview: 'Like I tell my five sisters, who don't work at it very hard at all (to stay fit), whatever you put in, you get out.

'I'm not afraid of working hard at anything, whatever it is. I just always want to be the best that I can. People think if you look after yourself you're being selfish, you know.

'But what Tom taught me - and he is a living example of this - is that in order to be your best, you have to honour your own needs first.

Gisele and Brady started dating in December 2006 - just weeks after he ended his three-year relationship with former Sex And The City star Bridget Moynahan.

However, just a few months into their romance, their relationship was rocked by news that Moynahan was pregnant with Brady's son John, who was born in August 2007.

Gisele and Brady wed in Santa Monica, California in February 2009 and welcomed their son Benjamin the following December.

Though she's known for her milky complexion, the former Transformers star appeared to have gotten a bit of sun.

She frolicked in the waves and strolled along the beach hand-in-hand with her husband.

The two appear to be taking an early wedding anniversary trip, as they tied the knot nearly two years ago in Hawaii.

However, their wedding was on the big island, and the two are now on holiday on the much smaller island of Kona.

Fox appears to be taking a much needed break before she begins promoting her plethora of film projects.

She is starring in Friends With Kids, an independent film directed by Jon Hamm's long-time girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt.

The movie revolves around a pair of best friends in their thirties who decided to have a child together and then date other people.

It is slated for a March 9 release.

She will also cameo as herself in Sacha Baron Cohen's latest comedy, The Dictator, on May 11.

The brunette beauty is also starring in Judd Apatow's latest film, a spin-off of 2007's Knocked Up.

She co-stars with Paul Rudd, Leslie Mann, Melissa McCarthy and Albert Brooks in the comedy, which will be released on December 21.
