And Miranda Kerr could have so easily been on the set of her latest glamorous photoshoot as she lazed on an outside bed in a skimpy green two-piece.

But the 28-year-old was enjoying some time off in her native Australia with her moviestar husband Orlando Bloom and their son Flynn, who turned one last month.

The couple arrived in Sydney last weekend to attend a friend's wedding.

Miranda showed off her incredibly toned body and long legs as she relaxed poolside with friends, donning a massive hat to shield her face from the scorching Aussie sun, and massive dark sunglasses.

Doting Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando, 35, held his naked son affectionately and took him for a dip as his mother sipped on a glass of champagne.

He showed off his own fit torso, wearing just a pair of floral swimming trunks.

But when the toddler shed a few tears, it was back to his mother for a kiss and cuddle.

It seems Miranda has some very helpful friends, with one adjusting the model's bikini bottoms for her.

Miranda will be enjoying her time off, having been hard at work since landing in her home country.

Last week she was seen posing on the streets of Sydney and on a boat in the landmark harbour, lounging as a photographer snapped photos for what is believed to be an assignment for an Italian magazine.

Later that night Kerr hit the red carpet to attend the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards, which has been dubbed the Aussie Oscars.

After the ceremony she wrote on her Twitter page: 'Just finished at the AACTA awards.

Kerr arrived in Sydney on Saturday with her husband, actor Orlando Bloom and their one-year-old son Flynn.

She is considered something of an icon among her fellow Australians and is worthy of heroine status as she juggles a busy career with a successful marriage and motherhood.

So it was only fitting that Miranda Kerr should transform into Wonder Woman, as someone more than worthy of the title.

The supermodel turned superhero for a magazine shoot for a special collectors' edition of Grazia Australia magazine to celebrate Australia Day this Thursday.

And the 28-year-old looked sensational in her Wonder Woman outfit, that, in true catwalk style, had a twist to the traditional look.

Her lovely long limbs seemed to go on forever in the red and blue strapless leotard, that was custom made for Miranda by Australian fashion designer Alex Perry.

Miranda teamed the leotard with a gold headband with a red star motif and gold cuffs, just like the DC Comics heroine.

But instead of red lace-up boots, Miranda opted for blue suede towering heels which elongated her already long legs.

Miranda also patriotically held an Australian flag high above her head which had been made into a cape by Perry.

The Victoria's Secret model was styled by the magazine's fashion director Thelma McQuillan, who said she was glad that she had controversially pushed the boundaries for the shoot.

She said: 'We�re a fashion magazine - and this is art. We�re taking a risk - because Wonder Woman is a globally recognised icon and not just anyone could pull it off.

'But Miranda is an Australian icon herself. She�s the star who, time and time again, our readers say they most admire; a businesswoman, a wife, a mum. She is our wonder woman. And she has the presence to pull this recreation off.'

Thelma added that Miranda wasn't shown what she would be wearing for the shoot until on the day and said: 'I was excited about it, but I hadn�t previously told Miranda about the outfit, so I wasn�t sure what she�d think.

'But she took one look at it and broke into a big smile. It�s my favourite shoot yet.'

There is also a behind-the-scenes video from the shoot in which Miranda talks about Australian fashion designers and talks about her childhood Australia Day traditions including building rafts to float down the river.

Miranda Kerr Gets A Banker In Trouble

The 26-year-old Victoria�s Secret model recently inadvertently got an Australian banker in hot water.

During a televised news interview with a Macquarie Private Wealth analyst, a banker was spotted in the background looking at pictures of Miranda from her most recent GQ photo shoot. Predictably, the video circulated on YouTube and the bank is now conducting an internal investigation in the matter.

The banker will meet with the bank�s executives this week to determine his future, according to the Herald Sun.

After posing for her first nude photo shoot a couple of months ago, Miranda Kerr is still continuing to shed her clothes in almost every opportunity she gets.

The hottie flashed barely-there underwear in the latest campaign for American lingerie brand Victoria's Secret.

The 26-year-old appeared in her first nude shoot on the cover of last month's Australian Rolling Stone magazine. Since then, erotic shots have been published of her posing nude for the latest Pirelli calendar.

Kerr is currently dating actor Orlando Bloom and lives with him in Hollywood. However, she has avoided marriage till now.

"He has told her he wants to marry her and will propose again this summer,'' the Daily Telegraph quoted a source close to the couple telling London's Daily Mail.

Bloom apparently has decided to try his luck for the last time.

The insider added, "If she says no, he has said it will be over. Orlando discussed marriage with her in New York last year and again in Sydney earlier this year, but she kept saying she was too young.''
