NEWS: Pinoy texting: Pinay teen,17, left pregnant by textmate after eyeball
Cellphone texting can be fun and textmates can be friendly, but just like anything else in this world, evil lurks and texting can be dangerous.
In Pasay City, a teenage girl has filed a complaint against an older nman whom she met via cellphone texting, and later had sex with in a motel during their eyeball in December 2006.
The 17-year-old girl (who is below the legal age of 18 in Philippine laws) went to the police because she was three-months pregnant, and her textmate Joel Escriba, 27, of Area 64 Sto Nio, Sapang Palay, San Jose Del Monte Bulacan, refused to talk to her, claiming he was already married.
According to police records at the Women and Childrens Concerned Desk (WCCD) of the Pasay police, Escriba and the victim became textmates in 2006 and exchanged intimate text messages until they agreed to meet in December 16, 2006.
The victim told police she had fallen in love with Escriba over the months they were textmates, and she was not able to resist when he took her to Rotonda Lodge on Edsa, Pasay City on their first meeting. Their, they had what in street lingo is called a sex eyeball (SEB).
She said Escriba even brought him to Bulacan province and introduced her to his parents. He even allegedly promised to his parents that he will marry her.
But Escriba allegedly started avoiding her when he learned she was pregnant. On her third month of pregnancy, she was finally able to talk to Escriba on his cellphone, but he refused to help her with her pregnancy as she was a married man.

Cute Puppy
A dog is a mans best friend. How often have we heard that saying. The reason weve heard it so often, though, is because dogs really do make good and faithful friends. They like you whether youre no matter what the rest of the world thinks or does.
Dogs pull at our heart strings, and thats why we love to surround ourselves with pictures of them.
We love funny dog photos, we love cute puppy pictures, we even love sad puppy dog faces looking up at us out of our photos.
This dog gallery is for all the dog-lovers out there.

Beauty is a characteristic of a person, place, object, or idea that provides a perceptual experience of pleasure, meaning, or satisfaction. Beauty is studied as part of aesthetics, sociology, social psychology, and culture. As a cultural creation, beauty has been extremely commercialized. An "ideal beauty" is an entity which is admired, or possesses features widely attributed to beauty in a particular culture.
The experience of "beauty" often involves the interpretation of some entity as being in balance and harmony with nature, which may lead to feelings of attraction and emotional well-being. Because this is a subjective experience, it is often said that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder." In its most profound sense, beauty may engender a salient experience of positive reflection about the meaning of one's own existence. A subject of beauty is anything that resonates with personal meaning.
The classical Greek adjective beautiful was ?a????. The Koine Greek word for beautiful was "??a???", an adjective etymologically coming from the word "??a" meaning hour. In Koine Greek, beauty was thus associated with "being of one's hour". A ripe fruit (of its time) was considered beautiful, whereas a young woman trying to appear older or an older woman trying to appear younger would not be considered beautiful. ??a??? in Attic Greek had many meanings, including youthful and ripe old age.
Scientific Definition of Cuteness
Cuteness is usually characterized by (though not limited to) some combination of infant-like physical traits, especially small body size with a disproportionately large head, large eyes, a pleasantly fair, though not necessarily small nose, dimples, and round and softer body features. Infantile personality traits, such as playfulness, fragility, helplessness, curiosity, innocence, affectionate behavior and a need to be nurtured are also generally considered cute.
Konrad Lorenz argued in 1949 that infantile features triggered nurturing responses in adults and that this was an evolutionary adaptation which helped ensure that adults cared for their children, ultimately securing the survival of the species. As evidence, Lorenz noted that humans react more positively to animals that resemble infantswith big eyes, big heads, shortened noses, etc.than to animals that do not.
That is, humans prefer animals which exhibit pedomorphosis. Pedomorphosis is the retention of child-like characteristicssuch as big heads or large eyesinto adulthood. Thus, pedomorphosis and cuteness may explain the popularity of Giant Pandas and Koalas. The widely perceived cuteness of domesticated animals, such as dogs and cats, may be due to the fact that humans selectively breed their pets for infant-like characteristics, including non-aggressive behavior and child-like appearance.
Some later scientific studies have provided further evidence for Lorenz's theory. For example, it has been shown that human adults react positively to infants who are stereotypically cute. Studies have also shown that responses to cutenessand to facial attractiveness generallyseem to be similar across and within cultures.
Additionally, the phenomenon is not restricted to humans. The young of many mammal and bird species share a similar set of typical physical proportions, beyond absolute body size, that distinguish them from adults of their own species. "Cute" features were also described in the recent finding of a baby Triceratops skull, suggesting that cuteness is an ancient and useful survival technique.
