Amy Winehouse home to be HQ of rehab charity?

Amy Winehouse home to be HQ of rehab charity?Amy Winehouse's home is all set to become the head quarters of her rehab foundation.

People near to the late singer have revealed that the 2.5million-pound property in Camden, North London, would be the focal point of the new Amy Winehouse Foundation.

The profits derived from Winehouse's new single, made with music legend Tony Bennett, will be utilised to serve the foundation.

Bennett himself declared that the royalties from the jazz classic 'Body And Soul' would go to the foundation that is expected to teach all the young children not to take drugs.

The late singer's dad Mitch has revealed that the foundation will boost a wide range of 'causes close to her heart'.

"It could include help for children in trouble, kids suffering health problems, children's hospices and more," the Sun quoted him as saying.

"We want to make a positive difference," he added.

Though the Winehouse family initially thought of selling the 10-room, three-storey property, they later settled down with the idea of making it the head quarters of the foundation.

"They think it's too precious to give up, hence the new HQ idea," a source revealed.

"They don't want to rent it out and if they sold it they think it could attract the wrong kind of buyer as it was where Amy passed away. They may sell one day but that would be some way off," the source added.

Doctor's adviced Singer Amy Winehouse's to quite drinking

Doctor's adviced Singer Amy Winehouse's to quite drinkingSinger Amy Winehouse's doctors have given her an ultimatum - either she should quit drinking or brace herself for the worst.

The 27-year-old is being currently treated at rehabilitation clinic The Priory, where she checked into last week, reports thesun.co.uk.

"This is the last chance saloon for Amy. Doctors have come down hard on her because of the severity of her situation. It's a harsh reality but she had to hear it," said a source.

Winehouse' father Mitch and boyfriend Reg Traviss were also beside her when she was being advised by doctors and they begged her to heed the professionals' advice.

"They are worried about her. Mitch has been down this road before during Amy's drug addiction. But she is there of her own accord this time and wants to sort herself out," the source said.

Winehouse has heard harsh words at the clinic earlier too, during her several stints between 2007 and 2009 when she needed help with her addiction to drugs.

She hopes to sort out her problems for a number of shows in Europe this summer. She is due to perform in Serbia, Greece, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary and Romania.

Amy Winehouse Album 'delayed'

Amy Winehouse Album delayedAmy Winehouse's latest rehab stint has forced record label bosses to postpone plans to release her long-awaited third album, according to a U.K. report.

The British singer, who has long battled drink and drunk addiction, checked into The Priory clinic on Wednesday (25May11) to undergo a treatmentprogram, with the singer's publicist revealing she was admitted to make sure she is ready for gigs in Europe this summer (11).

However, a new report now suggests Winehouse's planned comeback is set to be delayed to give her time to recover fully.

A source tells Britain's The People, "She has finally finished the album and it's ready to go. They were just about to finalise a release date and then this happened. She is back in rehab for the foreseeable future soit is just a question of waiting and seeing now. But there is no way they can give a specific release date until they know she is likely to be out".

A statement from Winehouse's representative previously revealed, "She will remain at the Priory on doctor's advice".

Winehouse's dad faked heart attack to get her off drugs

Winehouse's dad faked heart attack to get her off drugsAmy Winehouse's father Mitch has confessed he faked a heart attack in front of her formerly drug addict daughter to get her off heroin.

The 59-year-old former cabbie said he was desperate to get the 25-year-old singer out of drug hell before it took a nasty turn.

"I was at me wits end. I just didn't know which way to turn. I'd tried everything. I pretended I was seriously ill and even got our doctor to tell Amy that I was dying," The Mirror quoted him as saying.

"Once I even started screaming and said I was having a heart attack, but it didn't work. Amy's not stupid and she wanted to see my medical records proving I was actually ill," he added.

The "Rehab" hitmaker kicked her drug habit after her extended break in St Lucia.

Amy Winehouses Ex-Husband Wants 6million

Amy Winehouses Ex-Husband Wants 6millionAmy Winehouse has been left reeling after her ex-husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, demanded a 6million payoff.

Blake claims he is entitled to the fortune because he inspired her massively successful album Back To Black by cheating on her.

Fielder-Civil, 27, was granted a quickie divorce on Thursday on the grounds of Amys adultery.

Amy did write Back To Black when Blake left her, but why on earth should he be getting a dime for making her feel so bad? a source told Britains News of The World newspaper.

She was at her lowest ebb when she wrote that album. Her boyfriend had left her for another woman and she poured her heart and soul into the writing process.

Its like saying that the man who writes a book about his murdered wife should give the murderer some of the profits.

Its an absolutely ridiculous request.

The judge has given the Decree Nisi and the Decree Absolute will follow in six weeks.

Blake has to make a claim before that but he has made it clear to Amy privately he wants millions. She believes shes right and Blake has no real case for a stake at her money.

Amys distraught because she hopes to get back to St Lucia and move on with a new phase of her life but doesnt think Blake will go quietly. Blakes family dont want him to ask for money but he hasnt given up on a hefty payday.

He thinks he was a big part of her success with Back To Black and deserves money for what he put up with.

Amy is furious and doesnt want to negotiate.

But shes happy for his outrageous demands to be made public because she wants to show him up.

Katy Perry's 'breasts' sold for $3500

Katy Perry's 'breasts' sold for $3500Pop star Katy Perry is delighted someone paid US$3500 for a mould of her breasts.

The I Kissed A Girl singer had her ample assets immortalised in a plaster cast for breast cancer research charity Keep A Breast, and was thrilled with the amount someone paid for it.

She said: "Someone paid US$3500 for a mould of my breast. That's a lot in a recession."

Katy, 24, has also denied claims she suffered from alcoholism while waiting for her break in the music industry, and is adamant she is only a social drinker.

She said: "I didn't even know what rehab was until Amy Winehouse sang about it. I've tried things of course, but I've never been addicted.

" I've never had any problems."

The US star recently insisted she has no plans to end her war of words with Lily Allen, who previously claimed Katy called her "fat".

"When someone wants to go at it with me I'll come back with all guns blazing!"

Winehouse Snub's Quit Smoking Plea

Smoking WinehouseAmy Winehouse upset her father Mitch by smoking on stage just hours after he begged her to quit.

The Back To Black star sang to the 80,000 strong crowd at Scotland's T in the Park festival on Sunday (13Jul08) while swigging alcohol and smoking.

It came just hours after her dad Mitch made an emotional plea on British TV, urging those close to the star to stop providing her with drugs and cigarettes.

Mitch, who has fallen ill himself trying to cope with his wayward daughter's problems, went on to ask the singer to quit tobacco because of "a small amount of emphysema in her lungs".

He also warned her death would not come from drugs, but from smoking, and told her it would be "a long, slow, painful death" in a bid to shock her into quitting all her addictions.

He says, "I want people to understand - even if they give her one cigarette they're causing her harm.

"She has a small amount of emphysema in the top of her lungs. It's negligible, but it could lead to something a lot more serious".

Troubled singer Amy Winehouse

Troubled singer Amy WinehouseTroubled singer Amy Winehouse - who checked out of a London rehab clinic last month - has a new party trick: snorting vodka.

Winehouse shocked onlookers when she nasally inhaled the potent spirit through a straw while partying with friends including Kelly Osbourne, Mark Ronson and Kimberly Stewart at London's Bungalow 8 club on Wednesday.

A source said: "Somebody had brought over 20 shots to Amy's table and she decided to show off her new party trick.

"She necked the top of the shot and lit the rest with a lighter. Then she grabbed a straw and sucked what was left up her nose.

"Amy threw back her head and reeled in shock and everyone around her looked stunned."

Doctors have warned Amy's party trick, known as a Gas Chamber, could be potentially lethal as alcohol is absorbed directly into the bloodstream.

Meanwhile, the 24-year-old Rehab star flew into a rage Thursday when she spotted an unauthorised biography about her on sale at her local London garage.

Amy - who popped into the shop to pick up some sweets on her way home after partying till 5am - demanded the 17 tome, titled Amy, Amy, Amy: The Amy Winehouse Story, be taken off the shelves immediately.

The book, by Nick Johnstone, details Amy's rise to fame her battle with drink and drugs and the arrest of her husband Blake Fielder Civil, who is currently awaiting trial at London's Pentonville Prison.

Winehouse gets visa, too late for awards

Amy WinehouseAmy Winehouse's work visa was approved after all, but the State Department's change of heart Friday wasn't in time for her to make the trip to Sunday's Grammy Awards.

Instead, the rehabbing British singer will go ahead with the backup plan that was concocted while her visa was still in limbo: a live performance, via satellite, from a studio in London where she will also accept any awards that may come her way. Winehouse and her acclaimed "Back to Black" album are nominated for Grammys in six categories.

"Unfortunately, due to the logistics involved and timing complications, Amy will not be traveling to the U.S. to perform at the Grammys in person," the Outside Organization said in a statement.

Winehouse's original visa application was denied under U.S. immigration rules regarding the "use and abuse of narcotics," a senior State Department official said Friday, on condition of anonymity because the U.S. Embassy in London's application deliberations are confidential. As a British citizen, Winehouse would not normally need a visa to enter the United States unless she wanted to work or perform.

The Department of Homeland Security had been "rapidly" processing her appeal, the official said. But the reversal, barely 48 hours before the beginning of the telecast, came too late.

"Amy would like to thank all of those people, in particular the staff involved at the U.S. Embassy in London, who have all worked so hard to expedite her application," Outside said. "She is looking forward to being a part of the 50th Annual Grammy Awards with her Sunday night performance and to going back to the U.S. soon."

Even if Winehouse had been able to board a non-stop flight from London to Los Angeles immediately after her visa came through Friday, the earliest she would have arrived would have been the wee hours of Saturday morning. That grueling itinerary would have left little time for her to rest and recover from a more than 12-hour journey, rehearse, and face the inevitable storm of attention that's been building during the will-she-or-won't-she-be-there drama of the past days.

Winehouse's potent blend of blues, jazz, pop and soul has won praise from critics and fans, but her chaotic personal life has increasingly upstaged her music. Concerned family members regularly beg Winehouse to seek help in letters splashed across the pages of British tabloid newspapers and magazines.

Last month, The Sun newspaper ran still images from a video that it claimed showed Winehouse inhaling fumes from a small pipe. The images were said to have been filmed during a party at her London home.

Shortly thereafter, Winehouse entered a London rehabilitation center, and has been questioned by police. Outside said earlier Friday that she was leaving the center to prepare for her performance. It added that the singer would remain under medical supervision.

Other British music acts have had difficulty securing visas. Lily Allen was scheduled to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards in September, but the pop star's visa was revoked. The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services hasn't commented, but her manager has said he suspected it was because Allen was arrested in London in June after an altercation with photographers.

Is Amy Winehouse To Divorce?.

Amy WinehouseAmy Winehouse To Divorce?....

The father of troubled singer Amy Winehouse fears her jailed husband Blake Fielder-Civil is planning to divorce his daughter.

Mitch Winehouse has revealed that Fielder-Civil, who is currently being held on remand at London's Pentonville Prison on charges of perverting the course of justice, is sick of rowing with his famous spouse and has threatened to divorce her.

Fielder-Civil is said to be far from happy with Winehouse's decision to spend a festive holiday in the Caribbean with her ex-boyfriend George Roberts - while he was behind bars.

And now Winehouse has been spotted partying with music producer pal Mark Ronson, sparking rumours of an affair.

The singer's father has fuelled speculation that the pair's marriage is on the rocks - and, according to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, he is blaming Fielder-Civil's mother for encouraging a split.

Mitch Winehouse tells British magazine Grazia, "Blake threatened to issue divorce proceedings when they were having a row. Unfortunately, Blake is influenced by things his mother has said.

"I think Georgette (Fielder-Civil's mother) wants them to divorce, but it's up to them.

"From Amy's point of view, she would stick by him not matter what. But he has said things like, `I want a divorce'."

Amy Winehouse's invited to spend Christmas in Caribbean with Adam

Amy WinehouseAmy Winehouse has been invited to spend Christmas with Bryan Adams in the Caribbean.

The troubled 'Rehab' singer - who is struggling to cope without husband Blake Fielder-Civil who is currently being held in custody in London's Pentonville Prison for alleged grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice - is considering flying to Bryan's luxury villa on the private island of Mustique for a "rock family" Christmas.

A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Amy has been invited to Mustique to stay with Bryan Adams. He is keen to help her. Mick Jagger also has a house there and could even join them. He has also said he wants to help Amy."

The 'Everything I Do' singer is keen to help Amy and believes a relaxing holiday will allow her to deal with her alcohol and drink problems.

Meanwhile, Amy's mother-in-law Georgette Civil has blasted the star for partying too hard and missing her visits to see Blake in jail.

Georgette fumed to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "When Amy is out all night, she can't get up the next day and keeps missing prison visits. Blake can't dictate to Amy but he gets upset when she forgets to visit or turns up late and is turned away.

"I have to ring her sometimes six times a day to remind her to get up, get washed and get over there."

Earlier this week, Amy was arrested, questioned and released on bail by police in connection with the investigation into Blake's charge of perverting the course of justice.

Blake is accused of bribing James King, the landlord of Macbeth's public house in Hoxton, to withdraw his allegation of grievous bodily harm against the 25-year-old.

He will be remanded in custody until January 18 for a plea and directions hearing.

Sex addict Amy Winehouse

Sex addict Amy WinehouseAmy Winehouse is a sex addict with a fetish for spanking, an ex-lover has claimed.

Johnny Headlock, who is the minder of rocker Pete Doherty, claims he enjoyed a "wild" romp with the troubled singer - who was recently hospitalised after overdosing on a cocktail of drugs - last year while she was dating ex-lover Alex Claire.

The 27-year-old tough guy, real name Jonathan Jeannevol, met Amy, 23, through their mutual music contacts, and claims he bedded her after she returned to London following a promotional trip to New York.

He told Britain's News of the World newspaper: "She was wild. She went for hours and couldn't get enough. We must have gone through about five or six positions, but she liked being on top the best.

"She made a lot of noise and loved being spanked on the a**e. It was really rock 'n' roll."

Johnny claims he offered Amy - now married to 25-year-old Blake Fielder-Civil - cocaine before they had sex, but she didn't take the drug.

The minder continued to see the 'Rehab' singer for a short while after their night of passion, but it fizzled out after he discovered Amy was in a relationship with Alex.
